About Us

South Africa’s aging population presents a significant opportunity, with thousands of elderly individuals in need of quality care and limited qualified caregivers available to meet this demand. Additionally, family caregivers often lack formal training, making this an untapped market segment. By addressing these gaps, Carewise College aims to become a leader in the caregiving education sector.

What we stand for

Our logo symbolises hope, guidance and illumination. Inspired by the Bible’s promise that “God is light, and in him there is no darkness” (1 John 1:5), our logo represents the radiant light of God’s wisdom. As Proverbs 4:7 reminds us, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom.” Our logo embodies this pursuit of wisdom, shining a light on the path forward. Just as the psalmist declares, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105), our logo serves as a beacon, guiding us toward a brighter future filled with wisdom, hope, and illumination.

In the New Testament, Jesus uses the metaphor of a lamp to convey spiritual truth. In Matthew 5:14-16, Jesus says, “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.” Here, Jesus emphasizes the importance of living a life that shines brightly for others to see, just like a lamp on a stand.

In Luke 8:16-18, Jesus says, “No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.” This passage highlights the need to share the light of God’s love and truth with others, rather than hiding it.
